Tea & Shade Released!

Third Time Lucky Productions first short film has been released.
Tea & Shade, written and directed by Andrew Creak, was released this morning at 10:00 over on the TTL YouTube channel.
Tea & Shade, is a queer short film made in celebration of LGBTQymru, Wales first nation wide virtual pride festival.
Izzy has set up a queer virtual book club during the lockdown to keep him and his friends reading during the lockdown, this month the group have supposed to have read Call Me By Your Name, though the topic of conversation drifts from the book to the members love lives.
The cast of the short is made up of Andy Futter (Izzy), Juliet Rimell (Jo), Elis Sleight (Alistair) and Cas Evan Potterton-Taylor (John), and the characters represent several aspects of Queer community and culture.
“It was important to me that this film was feel good, and positive. A lot of Queer orientated short films revolve around the difficulties of coming out, acceptance, or the prejudices we as a community face. While these all lead to good story telling and drama, I wanted to make sure that this film was a celebration of the queer community, and to show that people who are LGBTIQ+ are just normal people, living normal lives.”
Andrew Creak – Writer & Director
The short was written and produced in just over a week from initial concept, to casting, filming and editing. The short also has a beautiful original score written by Gabriel Evans which fits the piece like a glove.
Tea & Shade is now available to watch on the Third Time Lucky Productions Youtube Channel, here.
